ACOE
ACOE (A Change Of Experience) is a Japanese hospitality brand built around the idea that imperfection can be meaningful. Inspired by kintsugi, the brand celebrates repair, continuity, and shared experience rather than surface level perfection.

What we did for ACOE
We developed ACOE’s brand identity around the philosophy of kintsugi, where visible repair becomes part of the story rather than something to hide. The logo, typography, and visual language were designed to feel calm, refined, and intentional, reflecting a place where different experiences come together under one roof.
Beyond the core identity, we shaped the brand’s messaging and tone of voice to express warmth, openness, and quiet confidence. The website was designed as an extension of this mindset, using restrained motion, thoughtful spacing, and tactile details to create a sense of rhythm and pause.
To support the launch, we created a cohesive set of digital and physical materials, ensuring the brand translated consistently across touchpoints. From visual storytelling to practical applications, every element was designed to reinforce ACOE’s focus on connection, continuity, and shared experience.

”Working with Designatives on our new ACOE website has been a really smooth and positive experience. They quickly understood our brand as a family-focused hospitality company in Tokyo and turned it into a clean, modern design that feels true to who we are and is easy for guests to navigate. Communication was always clear, and the project was delivered as promised, with careful attention to detail.”
