SG-1

SG-1 is one of the most active and recognizable validators on the Cosmos network. They came to us with a clear ask: build a visual identity and website that felt imaginative, otherworldly, and unmistakably theirs. Our creative direction leaned into a science-fiction aesthetic, with the concept of a stargate at the center of the universe they represent.

We developed the entire visual identity around this idea, starting with a complete redesign of the SG-1 logo to match the new, world-building direction. From there, we crafted a series of detailed 3D illustrations—each rendered to evoke the feeling of stepping into a living, breathing alien environment. These visuals carried through every element of the site, setting SG-1 apart in a competitive landscape.

To complete the experience, we brought in movement through subtle animations and seamless web transitions. Each illustration was designed from scratch in 3D and integrated with care into the website’s UI. We also created supporting characters and visual elements, including a robot that ties in with the brand’s approachable, geeky charm.
