When WeChange went live in January, the brand had one job: make buying and selling crypto feel as simple as a bank transfer. Since then the company has grown fast, and a brand that only had to work on a website and a dashboard now has to work on a card in someone's wallet, on a phone screen and on a stand at one of the largest crypto conferences in the world.
This is a short account of what we designed for WeChange in that second phase: the Visa card and its 3D launch film, the mobile app, and the full set of materials for TOKEN2049 in Singapore, from the exhibition space to a deck of playing cards.
Most identities are designed for the launch and then left alone. Six months later the company has new products, new channels and a trade show booked, and the brand gets stretched into places it was never designed for. We prefer to stay with a client through that stage, because the second year is when a brand either becomes a system or falls apart into one off designs.
With WeChange the identity held. The mark, the colours and the hatched pattern from the original system carried over to print, merchandise and 3D without a redesign, which is exactly what a brand system should allow. You can see the whole body of work in the WeChange case study.
The card is the first physical product WeChange has put in people's hands, so it had to feel like the brand without a screen around it. We designed the card itself and then a 3D launch film for the announcement: the card turning in a landscape of black rock, lit by the brand's lime. The film runs on the card page of the website, inside the app and across social media, with shorter cuts for stories and ads.
3D product films are now a regular part of our launch work for fintech and Web3 clients, alongside the 3D animation and launch films we make for websites. A rendered film can be finished before the physical product exists, which matters when the marketing calendar runs ahead of production.

The app brought the dashboard to the phone: balances, buying and selling in a couple of taps, and the card managed from inside the app. It was designed on the same component library and motion rules as the web platform, so a user who signed up on a laptop recognises every screen on a phone. For the client it also means one design system to maintain rather than two.
TOKEN2049 in Singapore ran on 7 and 8 October 2026 and WeChange exhibited on Stage 5, opposite the BIT Digital Stage. For an exhibition stand the brand has to work at a distance of twenty metres and at arm's length at the same time, and it has to be built by a contractor who has never seen the brand guidelines.
We designed the exhibition space as an extension of the identity rather than a booth with a logo on it: the angular structure picks up the folded shape of the mark, the hatched stripes run across the walls and the floor edge, and the lime edges make the space readable from across the hall. Seating, screens and the counter were planned so the team could hold conversations inside the space instead of in the aisle.

A stand with screens needs content that works with the sound off and loops without a visible seam. We produced a series of 3D visuals for the stand screens, built from the same materials as the card film: liquid metal, black rock, green crystal and the brand's lime light. The same series doubles as social media content and as backgrounds for the website, which is how a single production pays for itself several times over. The rest of the films are on the case study page.
Conference swag is usually an afterthought, and it shows. For TOKEN2049 we designed the full set as one family: T shirts, paper bags, bottles, badges and lanyards, posters and the banners outside the venue, all using the pattern and the two brand colours so that a bag spotted on the MRT is as recognisable as the stand.

The piece people kept asking about was the deck of playing cards. We illustrated all twelve court cards, jacks, queens and kings, as characters from the WeChange world, in the brand's lime and purple on black. A deck of cards is a giveaway people keep on a desk for years, which is more than can be said for a pen, and every card is a small reminder of the brand.

Conferences are where crypto companies meet their partners, investors and users in person, and the stand is often the first time the brand exists outside a screen. If you are planning a presence at TOKEN2049, Consensus, ETHDenver or a smaller event, we design the whole package: the exhibition space, the screen content, the merchandise and the print, all from your existing identity. See how we work with Web3 and blockchain companies, or tell us about your event.
