Custom
illustration,
characters
and
collections

We draw the things a brand cannot buy from a stock library: characters, worlds, icon sets, card decks and whole collections, designed to belong to the identity and built to be used for years.

Illustration is a brand asset, not a one off. We design the style first, then produce at scale: 5,555 frogs for Tallys, two full card decks, an illustration language for a school, so every new piece looks like it came from the same hand.

A
style,
then
a
system

One good drawing is easy. A hundred that look like they belong together, drawn over two years by different people, is the hard part, and it is what brands actually need.

So we start with the rules: line, colour, proportion, the way a character stands. Then we draw as much as the brand needs , and the hundredth piece matches the first.

What
we
illustrate

Four kinds of work, each with its own craft, all built on the same thinking.

1

Characters
and
mascots

Characters with a personality and a pose library, so they work in a logo, a loop, a sticker pack and the onboarding screen without redrawing.

2

Collections
and
NFTs

Trait systems, rarity logic and thousands of combinations that still read as one world. We drew the Tallys collection of 5,555 frogs and the FOXX collection from first sketch to final export.

3

Illustration
languages
for
brands

A drawn style that becomes part of the identity: spot illustrations, patterns and scenes for websites, campaigns and print, documented so it survives the next designer.

4

Icons,
cards
and
print

Icon sets, editorial pieces and physical objects. We designed complete poker and bridge decks for ACOE and WeChange, every court card and back drawn by hand.

From
sketch
to
series

The style is agreed on paper before the production run starts, so the series never drifts.

  1. Brief and references

What the illustrations have to do, where they will live and what the brand already looks like. We collect references and agree what the work should never look like.

  2. Style exploration

Two or three directions as finished sample pieces, not mood boards. One is chosen and its rules are written down.

  3. Production

The series is drawn in batches, reviewed against the rules, with the first batch shared early so feedback shapes the rest.

  4. Delivery and guidelines

Final files in every format you need, plus the style guide, so new pieces can be commissioned or drawn in house later.
